At Onside Kids Club, we’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and organised individual to manage our Kids Club at Myton Gardens Primary School.

We’re not necessarily looking for someone with years of childcare experience or a long list of qualifications. We’re looking for the right person: someone confident, approachable, organised and passionate about creating positive experiences for children.

The role and your team.

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of Kids Club at Myton Gardens Primary School. You’ll lead a small team, help create an enjoyable environment for children and build positive relationships with parents and the school.

Although you’ll manage your own setting, you won’t be doing it alone. Onside operates multiple Kids Clubs, with managers and colleagues working collaboratively to share ideas, resources, experience and best practice. You’ll be supported by experienced colleagues and a wider management team.

What you’ll do

Leading and supporting a small team.
Overseeing the daily operation of the club.
Creating a safe, welcoming environment for children.
Planning and delivering enjoyable activities.
Maintaining positive relationships with parents and carers.
Working closely with the school.
Supporting safeguarding and welfare procedures.
Maintaining excellent operational standards.
Working collaboratively with other Kids Club managers.

Experience, training & support

Previous childcare experience and relevant qualifications would be advantageous but are not necessarily essential. We welcome applications from people with transferable leadership and management experience. Appointment will be subject to appropriate safeguarding checks and regulatory requirements.

Relevant training and opportunities to gain childcare qualifications will be provided. You’ll manage your own setting with the support of the wider Onside Kids Club organisation.
